What are the responsibilities of an employee qualified in occupational risk prevention? Article L4644-1 of the French Labor Code stipulates that "the employer shall designate one or more competent employees to handle occupational risk protection and prevention activities within the company." The person qualified in prevention and safety is therefore responsible for identifying occupational risks (physical, mental, or psychosocial risks) within the company and proposing preventive measures in the workplace.
This training for designated competent employees will aim to enable the employee in charge of prevention and safety to understand their missions effectively and to respond to the prerogatives entrusted to them.
Goals

Program
Theoretical instruction for the training of a competent person in prevention and safety at work
- Identify the stakeholders involved in prevention within the company (internal or external).
- Become familiar with the role of the members of the CSE, CSSCT, Employer, Occupational Physician.
Examine the role of the competent person in occupational risk prevention
- Internal inspections and audits.
- Job analysis.
- Analysis of the arduousness.
- Contribution to the DUERP and the PAPIPACT.
- Company safety documentation (safety register, VGP, SDS, etc.).
Understand the functioning and missions of the members of the CSE and the CSSCT
- Summary of how the right to alert and withdraw works.
- Differentiate between a work accident, a commuting accident, and an occupational disease.
- Analyze occupational risk factors, means of prevention and protection.
- Specify other measures contributing to security:
- Prevention plans.
- Security protocols.
- Work permits.
