  • Definition of an explosive atmosphere.
  • Conditions for the formation of an explosive atmosphere (LIE, LSE).
  • Sources of inflammation.
  • Sizing of explosion risk zones.
  • Identification and classification of zones: flammable gases, vapors, dusts.
  • Signage.
  • Application to workstations (work instructions).
  • Work in an ATEX zone (work permit).
  • Obligations regarding access to areas at risk of explosion.
  • Marking of materials, tools and usable equipment.
  • Preventive measures.
  • Safety instructions.

Evaluation and validation methods

A multiple-choice questionnaire must be completed at the end of the training; passing it is a condition for receiving the individual certificate of completion of the training.
