• Knowledge of the alarm signal, evacuation routes, and procedures to follow to successfully carry out an evacuation
• Designation of personnel (suggested by the head of the establishment or their delegate), knowledge of their duties, evacuation techniques and instructions (evacuation officer, guides and sweepers)

Basic concepts of fire evacuation: Theoretical section on fire evacuation, fire warden and rear guard

• Identify the causes and effects of a fire, and the effects on humans.
• Understanding the principle of the fire triangle and the different classes of fire
• Knowing how to distinguish between a fire and a blaze (the 3-minute rule)
• Understanding the behavior of materials in fire and the modes of fire propagation
• Mastering both types of explosions

Fire evacuation: Understanding the organization to be put in place and everyone's roles

• What is an alert and an alarm signal? How, why, and how do you trigger a fire alarm?
• Understanding fire safety equipment (fire blankets, fire extinguishers, etc.)
• Identify the operation of the fire safety system and the automatic fire suppression system, if any.
• Mastering evacuation procedures specific to your building and to buildings in general
• The concept of a line guide and a line sweeper
• Definition and roles of a queue guide, a tail marshal, and a security officer
• Determine the role of GF and SF in an evacuation
• Understanding how to extricate a victim from a smoke-filled, enclosed space
• Understanding the appropriate behavior to adopt towards customers or colleagues present on site

Practical approach to evacuation training: guide, file & rear guard

• Site visit (evacuation exits, assembly point, etc.)
• Audit of building signage, evacuation routes, and emergency exits
• Identification of the assembly point, specific instructions
• Recommendations on the development of evacuation procedures
