Goals

  • Understanding what confined spaces are.
  • Identify the risks associated with confined spaces and their impacts on health.
  • Choosing the right protective equipment for a specific operation.
  • Understand the regulatory framework.

Program

  • Presentation of confined spaces: types, access characteristics, related problems.
  • Risks in confined spaces: fire, ATEX, falls from height and on the same level, biological risk, chemical risk, anoxia, hypoxia.
  • Actors in confined spaces and their roles
  • Confined space prevention measures and emergency measures
  • Responding in case of accident or incident

Evaluation and validation methods

A final questionnaire (multiple-choice type) will be given to trainees at the end of their training. Successful completion of this questionnaire is contingent upon passing it.
They will be given an individual certificate of completion of the training.

DOES NOT ALLOW ONE TO HOLD THE QUALIFICATION OF INTERVENER OR CAPACITY SUPERVISOR
