Noise at work, when exposure is higher than average and for a longer period, has a direct impact on quality of life. Hearing problems (progressive deafness, tinnitus), sleep disturbances, stress, increased cardiovascular risks, etc., are symptoms that can be caused by exposure to noise or sound pollution in a noisy workspace.

Workplace analysis, risk identification and measures to be put in place to reduce noise-related risks are actions that this workplace noise training will enable you to carry out.

Goals

  • Understanding the health risks associated with working in a noisy environment
  • Identify the issues related to exposure to noise pollution specific to one's professional environment
  • Understanding prevention methods: from collective protection to individual protection, and the need to respect protection guidelines

  • Introduction to noise training in the workplace: general concepts on employee safety
  • Identify the risks and effects of nuisances related to prolonged noise exposure on health
  • Implementing a noise risk prevention strategy
  • Building your toolbox and action plans to reduce noise at work

Evaluation and validation methods

A final questionnaire (multiple-choice type) will be given to trainees at the end of the training. Upon successful completion of this questionnaire, they will receive an individual certificate of completion.
