Habilitation électrique BE manœuvre

Goals

  • Perform electrical work tasks as ordered.
  • Being responsible for one's own safety and knowing how to read a mission order.
  • Knowing how to safely enter an electrical room or location and applying these rules in order to proceed with the installation of electrical components when de-energized.
  • Obtaining BE electrical authorization for operation according to the NFC 18510 standard.

Theoretical section of electrical authorization BE maneuver

  • Understanding electricity and its specific characteristics.
  • Understanding the NFC 18510 standard.
  • Identify and understand the different electrical sources.
  • Understanding the different types of contacts: direct and indirect.
  • Understanding the typical diagram of an electrical installation.
  • Electrical hazard prevention.
  • Reminder of the regulations relating to BE electrical authorization.
  • Understanding the BE electrical authorization and its provisions.
  • Find out about the different electrical qualifications.
  • Knowing how to use personal protective equipment.
  • Know the procedures to follow when entering an electrical room.
  • Understanding the rules to follow when resetting an electrical source.
  • Knowing and using first aid techniques in the event of an electrocution
  • Understanding the actions to take in the event of a fire of electrical origin.
  • Knowing how to take and read electrical measurements.
  • Conduct tests safely.
  • Perform electrical wiring and install electrical components correctly according to a given order.

Practical section: Electrical authorization BE maneuver

  • Identification of the different electrical sources located in the establishment and the procedure to follow to reset a circuit breaker.

Evaluation and validation methods

Multiple choice questions (minimum 16/20).

Target audience

  • Low voltage intervention officer.
  • Non-electrician personnel.

Prerequisites

  • No prerequisites are required to attend the BS electrical authorization training.
  • Each trainee must have their own PPE.
