Goals

  • To understand the dangers of electricity and to analyze electrical risk.
  • Integrating prevention into work organization.
  • Implement preventive measures and employer's instructions and know the procedure to follow in case of an accident or fire of electrical origin.

Program

  • State the effects of electric current on the human body.
  • List the environmental zones and give their boundaries.
  • Provide the definition of the authorization symbols.
  • Clarify everyone's roles.
  • Describe the sequences for securing a circuit.
  • Consignment.
  • Power off.
  • Keep out of reach.
  • Specify the procedure for verifying the absence of voltage.

Evaluation and validation methods

Multiple choice questions (minimum 16/20).

Target audience

A non-electrician required to perform electrical operations at low voltage.

Prerequisites

  • It is recommended to be qualified in electricity (diploma in electrical trades or proven professional experience as an electrician) to follow the BE electrical authorization training.
  • Each trainee must have their own PPE.
  • To be able to understand safety instructions.
