OBJECTIVES Optimize the search and selection of regulatory information sources Develop an effective regulatory and legal monitoring process Build and structure a regulatory collection CONTENT 1 - Identify legal requirements Hierarchy of texts from international to local. Criteria to consider when selecting legal/regulatory information sources 2 - Understanding the links and differences between standards and regulations The role of regulatory compliance in management system standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) Complementarities and differences between voluntary standards and regulations 3 - Identifying the essential points to monitor and document to meet compliance commitments Analyzing texts and identifying legal and other requirements applicable to a site's products and activities The evolution of site activities and the monitoring process 4 - Identifying the resources and tools needed to structure legal monitoring and regulatory assessment Legal sources: national texts (Environmental Code, decrees, orders, circulars) and European texts (regulations, directives, decisions, etc.); Their hierarchy Formatting the regulatory collection Compliance assessment tools and their implementation 5 - Integrating monitoring results into management systems Strengthening operational control Encouraging staff involvement in maintaining compliance Action to take in the event of regulatory non-compliance Target audience: Any professional responsible for implementing or contributing to the updating of legal and regulatory monitoring within their organization Prerequisites: None VALIDATION A multiple-choice questionnaire will be given to trainees at the end of the training. Successful completion of this questionnaire will result in the issuance of an individual certificate of completion. Training duration: Two days (14 hours) Training available in English
