Service Description

What are the responsibilities of the employee responsible for occupational risk prevention? Article L4644-1 of the French Labor Code stipulates that "the employer shall designate one or more competent employees to handle the company's occupational risk protection and prevention activities." The competent person in prevention and safety is therefore responsible for identifying occupational risks (physical, mental, or psychosocial risks) within the company and proposing preventive measures in the workplace. This designated competent employee training will aim to enable the employee responsible for prevention and safety to effectively understand their responsibilities and fulfill the prerogatives assigned to them. LEARNING OBJECTIVES - Understand the responsibilities of a competent person in occupational risk prevention - Comply with Article L4644-1 of the French Labor Code and ensure workplace safety - Become an active participant in the identification and prevention of occupational risks (physical, mental, and psychosocial) CURRICULUM Theoretical lessons learned in the training course for a competent person in occupational risk prevention and safety - Identify the stakeholders involved in workplace prevention (internal or external) - Understand the roles of CSE members, CSSCT (Workplace Health and Safety Committee), Employer, and Occupational Health Physician Examine the role of the competent person in occupational risk prevention - Internal inspections and audits - Job studies - Strenuousness analysis - Contribution to the DUERP (Workplace Risk Prevention Plan) and PAPRIPACT (Workplace Safety and Health Plan) - Company safety documentation (safety register, VGP (Workplace Safety and Health Plan), FDS (FDS), etc.) Understand the functioning and responsibilities of CSE and CSE members CSSCT (Health and Safety Committee) - Summary of how the right to alert and withdraw works - Differentiate between work-related accidents, commuting accidents, and occupational illnesses - Analyze occupational risk factors, prevention, and protection measures - Specify other measures contributing to safety: - Prevention plans - Safety protocols - Work permits Case studies and on-site workstations TRAINING LENGTH: 5 days (35 hours) TERMS: On-site or hybrid TARGET AUDIENCE: Employees designated by the employer to perform the position TRAINING VALIDATION: Assessment of ongoing training attendance, risk assessment, and successful completion of the questionnaire (16/20). Training available in English
