Service Description
Since July 1, 2012, the French Labor Code requires all employers, regardless of the size of their workforce or the company's activity, to designate one or more competent employees to handle occupational risk prevention and protection activities within the company. The health and safety officer, also known as a "preventer," is a key player in workplace prevention policy. They assist employers, particularly in assessing occupational risks and planning prevention actions. Appointment, responsibilities associated with the role, sanctions in the event of failure to comply, etc. CONTENT • Role and Missions of the Safety Officer • Various Occupational Health and Safety Issues • Various Internal and External Stakeholders and Their Respective Roles • Regulations – Legal Context Regarding Occupational Health and Safety: Labor Code, Criminal Code, Civil Code, Case Law • Right to Alert for Serious and Imminent Danger, Environmental, Social, and Withdrawal • Analysis of Accidents, Near Misses at Work, and Incidents, Using the Cause Tree Method and the QQOQCP • Risk Assessment: DUERP, Assess Chemical Risks Using the SEIRICH Tool • Site Visit and Workstation Study Using the ITAMAMI Tool • Management of External Contractors (EE): Prevention Plan, PPSPS, Fire Permit, Work Permit, Safety Protocol, HSE Clauses in Contracts • Management of a Safety Approach / Various Prevention Tools • Communication • Onboarding New Hires: Safety Induction, Safety Booklet, and Workplace Support VALIDATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Trainees are assessed by the trainer throughout the training based on their participation in exercises and various questions, their involvement during the site visit, as well as their suggestions for improving working conditions and their ability to detect dangerous situations. A multiple-choice questionnaire is also completed by the trainees at the end of the training. At the end, an individual certificate of successful completion will be issued to each participant. Training: 5 days (35 hours), sequence to be determined Audience: Any employee who has accepted the role of Safety Advisor or Deputy Advisor. Prerequisites: No specific prerequisites Refresher: Every 4 years Training available in English
