OBJECTIVES Understand what confined spaces are. Identify the risks associated with confined spaces and their health impacts. Choose the right protective equipment for a specific operation. Understand the regulatory framework. CURRICULUM Overview of confined spaces: types, access requirements, and related issues. Risks in confined spaces: fire, ATEX, falls from heights and on the same level, biological risk, chemical risk, anoxia, hypoxia. Stakeholders in confined spaces and their roles. Confined space prevention and emergency measures. - Procedures and their traceability (work permits, entry authorization, all-fluid lockouts). - Marking and communication protocol. - Ventilation and sanitation principles. - Atmosphere monitoring: use of detectors. Reacting in the event of an accident or incident. Target audience: Prevention professionals, team leaders. DOES NOT EQUALIZE INTERVENA OR PROFICIENCY SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATION Prerequisites: None Training duration: Half day (3.5 hours) Approval A multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) is given to trainees at the end of the training. Successful completion of this questionnaire will result in the issuance of an individual certificate of completion. Training available in English
