Noise at work, when exposed to it at higher than average levels and for longer periods, has a direct impact on quality of life. Hearing problems (progressive deafness, tinnitus), sleep disturbances, stress, increased cardiovascular problems, etc. are symptoms that can be caused by exposure to noise or noise pollution from a noisy workplace. This noise at work training course will help you analyze the workplace, identify risks, and implement measures to reduce noise-related risks. OBJECTIVES - Understand the health risks associated with working in a noisy environment - Identify the issues related to exposure to noise pollution specific to one's professional environment - Understand prevention methods: from collective to individual protection and the need to comply with safety instructions CONTENT - Introduction to noise training at work: general concepts on employee safety - Identify the risks and effects of noise pollution related to prolonged exposure to noise on health - Implement a noise risk prevention approach - Build a toolbox and action plans to reduce noise at work Validation: An end-of-course questionnaire (MCQ-type) will be given to trainees at the end of the training. Upon successful completion, they will receive an individual certificate of training completion. Target Audience: Business Owners, Prevention and Safety Officers, Members of the CSE (Working Conditions Committee), CSSCT (Working Conditions Committee), Anyone working in a noisy environment Validation: Attendance of participants throughout the training Training Duration: Half day (3.5 hours) Training available in English
