Service Description

Objectives: - Understand the ATEX organization, instructions, zoning, signage, and ATEX equipment in your facility. - Become aware of the specific ATEX risks in your facility. - Understand the proper conduct in an ATEX zone. Training content: • Consequences of an explosion • Regulations (European directives and the French Labor Code) • Definition of an explosive atmosphere • Conditions for the formation of an explosive atmosphere (LEL, UEL). • Ignition sources • Design of explosion hazard zones • Identification and classification of zones: flammable gases, vapors, and dusts. • Signage • Application to workstations (work instructions) • Intervention in an ATEX zone (work permit) • Obligations regarding access to explosion hazard zones • Marking of materials, tools, and equipment that can be used • Preventive measures • Safety instructions Training duration: half-day (3.5 hours) Target audience: Anyone working in an establishment with ATEX risks Prerequisites: none Training validation: A questionnaire (MCQ) is given to trainees at the end of the training. Successful completion of this questionnaire determines the issuance of an individual certificate of completion. Training available in English.
