Decree 88-1056 of 11/14/1988 specifies the training requirement for all workers working in a live or unlive electrical environment, as well as in a mechanical and thermodynamic environment. OBJECTIVES - Recognize mechanical risks and know how to protect yourself against them - Comply with and enforce company safety instructions - Carry out work in compliance with safety instructions CONTENT Introduction to the training - Overview of regulations relating to M2 mechanical certification - Definition of the rights, duties, and obligations of the employer and employees - Understand the statistical aspects of workplace accidents, commuting accidents, and occupational diseases - Distinguish between the main causes of accidents Conduct a mechanical risk assessment - Conduct risk assessment exercises - Understand the principle of safety signage - Know how to comply with the mechanical risk prevention plan Understand the roles and functions of the various stakeholders - External contractors - Definition of a construction site - Understand the role and function of an operations manager, a consignment manager, a work manager, and a field service manager immediate supervision, a work assistant, and a safety supervisor Review of mechanical authorization and permits - View a table of mechanical authorizations Ensure commissioning and compliance with safety instructions - View the various commissioning procedures - Define general requirements - Review of inspections related to commissioning - Complete the site opening form Understand mechanical risks in different work situations Learn first aid and evacuation concepts Target audience Personnel working near mechanical or thermodynamic devices Personnel working on industrial sites Prerequisites It is recommended to work on a sensitive site to take the M2 mechanical authorization training. Training validation: A multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) is given to trainees at the end of the training. Successful completion of this questionnaire is a condition for the issuance of an individual certificate of completion. Training duration: one day (7 hours) Refresher training recommended every 3 years Training available in English
