Service Description

OBJECTIVES - Identify the types of confined spaces - Analyze the risks associated with confined spaces - Understand the roles of supervisors and emergency responders - Prepare for and respond safely - React in an emergency CURRICULUM Introduction to confined spaces: types, access requirements, and related issues Risks in confined spaces: fire, ATEX, falls from heights and on the same level, biological risk, chemical risk, anoxia, hypoxia. Confined Space Operators and Their Roles Confined Space Prevention and Emergency Measures - Procedures and their traceability (work permits, entry authorization, all-fluid lockouts) - Marking and communication protocol - Ventilation and sanitation principles - Atmosphere monitoring: use of detectors Reacting in the event of an accident or incident Practical exercises Note: - Bring your own PPE (work clothes, helmet, and safety shoes) - This course does not include practical scenarios involving descent with a fall arrest harness or intervention with an SCBA (see additional courses on this equipment). Target Audience: Future capacity monitors and supervisors, prevention professionals, team leaders, and site managers. Prerequisites: Must be physically able to enter the capacity (occupational medicine). Duration: One day (7 hours) Certification: A multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ) will be distributed at the end of the theoretical training. Successful completion of this questionnaire is a condition of successful completion of the training and the issuance of an individual certificate of completion. Active participation in the practical training is also mandatory. Training available in English
